Quantcast

I live in a small town in Indiana, nowhere near the Mexico-US border.  Even so, I know 10+ Mexicans who work in kitchens here.  Everybody knows that southern immigrants will do lots of work for little pay.  But—but—but—the high school Spanish classes are still being taught by non-native speakers.

It seems obvious that even if they don’t know how to handle Estadounidense students, at least some of them would be happy to help students with their conversational skills.  Even if it’s not in class, you could have an after-school program.

This is an opportunity for a Pareto improvement.
